GM Crops & FoodGenetically Modified (GM) crops and Food have been forced on us for years although the public have been very slow to uptake them and for good reason because they don't deliver any of the promises and they are actually dangerous to human health and very very damaging to the environment in a very broad number of ways. The GM industry has spent billions over the past few decades with not much to show in terms of human benefits but a lot to show in terms of damage to environment, far greater use of dangerous pesticides and herbicides -the very opposite of what they promises, nil increase in food production from GM technology. Any increase has come from traditional breeding methods. They have tried many different tactics over the years to push their agenda and demonize the opposition and trying and continuing to use many of the same tricks used by the Tobacco industry for years.
