ON NEXT TUESDAY 30th April at 12-30 pm until 2pm we will be demonstrating at the offices of DLE LTD in Dublin City Centre, this is the company responsible for the last shipment of over 3000 weanlings to Libya last week. Details are below.

ON NEXT TUESDAY 30th April at 12-30 pm until 2pm we will be demonstrating at the offices of DLE LTD in Dublin City Centre, this is the company responsible for the last shipment of over 3000 weanlings to Libya last week. Details are below.
DILLON LIVESTOCK EXPORTS LTD OCEAN HOUSE, ARRAN QUAY, DUBLIN | Phone : 01 8728333- [livestock, livestock services, livestock exports, livestock auctioneers, livestock exporters]

‘We are calling the farmers bluff on their export claims. We believe that, were the Irish public to see what really goes on they would be shocked and horrified. It is now routine for Irish Farmers and their representatives to claim that Ireland, along with Australia has the best welfare standards in the world. They like to paint a picture of happy animals living idyllic lives and dying with virtually a smile on their faces…we are buying none of it.’

We challenge the farmers to let us see and film what the BEST WELFARE SYSTEM IN THE WORLD looks like, How are the animals artificially inseminated? What is it like for these IRISH animals to have their throat cut open. If it is so wonderfully great for the fit and healthy animals let us see visual proof!.
One live exporter claimed the animals have better travelling conditions than humans….if so then what is the secrecy about and the NO FILMING restrictions and extra security at Waterford Port.
PROVE US WRONG! We are waiting for access.

• Are we supposed to believe that according to Minister Coveney that all 2882 cattle arrived alive and healthy in Libya , he states ‘The information available to my Department from reports received from the exporters and from the ship owners is that all 2,882 cattle arrived fit and healthy in Libya. There were no mortalities.’
• If this is the case why are there no film accounts of the unloading of the cattle in Libya and no written reports available on request.
• This demonstration follows a Waterford Vigil on the night of the first Libya shipment and our presence at a NARA Demo last Tuesday 16th April at the Department of Agriculture.

PRESS OFFICERS.

I hope there is a good turnout. Good to see vegan groups doing this campaign and saying that all animal use is wrong. All animal use is wrong! Animal campaigners don't want 'on the hook not the hook', they want animal liberation. Quite right!
