There's method in Trump's tariff madness, says Ramesh Thakur. Uniting his America First, anti-Net Zero and anti-DEI policies is an imperative to untangle the US from strategic dependence on an ascendant China.

it used to be a free country!

Fianna Fail denies free competition in the soul industry.

Are Fianna Fail entitled to prevent the free flow of religious opinion and the recruitment of new followers by different christian factions ?If the trade unions are now in charge of Leinster House,the Bishops are hard on their heels!

Bertie Ahearn,s interference with the evangelical endeavours of rival christian groups via media advertising,for the wayward souls of our misbegotten citizens,is truly hilarious.Now that the current regime of soul savers(headquartered in Rome) is almost defunct (except in the heartlands of Fianna Fail,s backwoods) I view it as hilarious that he is assisting them to preserve their monopoly! Mary Harney... where are you!!
Is it possible we will see a court challenge from preachermen, under the restricted practices /competition legislation.? Is it possible Fianna Fail will “cap” their own election spending budget(to save our physical embodiment from the heretical gospel message of the other political parties?
While he is so busy preserving our souls from the taint or temptation of competing religious sects,perhaps he might say a few rosaries for Liam Lawlor, Ray Burke,Charles J.Haughey,and a host of his fellow county councillors the length and breath of the Island of(roman catholic)Saints and Scholars.Please remember also the bin tax sufferers,the old,the sick,and the handicapped in hospital,and all those in need of succour wherever they may be.

resistanc to the bin taxes is hardening amongst the population...but the environment will be the victim.Citizens..please vote with the ballot box. next june...not by despoiling the countryside!
Indymedia readers;
It is emerging from reports in various newspapers that the incidence of illegal disposal of bags of garbage in beauty spots around the country is on the increase.The back yard burning of waste is also on the increase in areas where charges are levied on the quantity involved.We have witnessed also,in recent weeks a deluge of applications in many counties and beauty spots(Kerry etc) for “one off house”applications,-before the notorious housing” levy “ deadline approaches. Is Fianna Fails legacy of corrupt practices to include a scattering of rubbish on every corner and field in rural Ireland…and a” one off” holiday habitation on every hilltop?

a good man to stand up for the rights of our citizens:
Sunday Business Post 2000

"Three taxi plate holders have agreed tax settlements totalling almost £150,000 for undeclared income and Vat, following an investigation by the Revenue Commissioners.

The single largest settlement for £108,684, including interest and penalties, was by John McDermott of 56 Martin Savage Park, Ashtown, Dublin. His occupation is listed in Iris Oifigiuil as "taxi/landlord".

Seeing as we have been subsidising your taxes for years, I feel your right to rant and rave about the state of our politicians is somewhat lessened however true your comments might be
