The real function of the mediocre LIVE 8 shite 'Pictures of starving children sell records'

category antrim | arts and media | opinion/analysis author Saturday July 02, 2005 23:06author by It was crap 20 years ago and is still crap Report this post to the editors

The real function of the mediocre LIVE 8 shite, apart from PR for Tony blair and boosting the flagging careers of crap capitalist rock stars, is to distract global media attention from the millions marching and protesting in Edinburgh against the G8.

Just as nazis concentration camps would have an orchestra playing to hide the ugly reality of what was happening in the concentration camps.

So Tony Blair and stupid Bob, have organised the shite LIVE 8 concert to gloss over the ugly realities of life in a the global concentration camp that is capitalism.

If rock stars really cared about the poor and starving of Africa, they would donate their many millions to them, instead of trying to boost their egos and sell records.
